Tom received his BBA degree from Adelphi University in May 1981. Prior to the inception of the firm, he was employed for several years at a regional CPA firm as well as numerous years serving in the capacities of treasurer and controller of two major corporations on Long Island in the real estate development and manufacturing environments. He has vast experience servicing clients in the fields of real estate development and construction, distributors, printers, mail houses, leasing, condominium and homeowner associations. He is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Lowenberg also holds a New York State Life and Health insurance license.

Tom is also an active member of various charitable and community organizations. He is the Vice President – Finance of the Board of Directors of United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Suffolk, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Commack Volunteer Ambulance Corps and the past Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Kings Park Youth Athletic Association. He is also a certified advanced emergency medical technician and continues to volunteer his services in the Commack Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
