Matthew Doughty, CPA

As a Partner with Fuller Lowenberg & Co., Matthew specializes in serving the firm’s business clients and their business owners. He is experienced with many types of complex tax, accounting, auditing (including the audit of employee benefit plans), compliance, and other general business matters. In addition, he is directly involved in new client development and the creation and implementation of marketing plans and strategies.

Matthew graduated with Cum Laude honors from Dowling College in Oakdale, NY with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a minor degree in sports management. He utilizes his degree combination with the numerous professional athlete clients that the firm services.

Matthew is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Additionally, he volunteers his time with several organizations including the Risk Management Association, the Hauppauge Industrial Association, and is on the advisory board for the Hydra Collective Young Professional Networking Group. He is actively involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island where he volunteers as a “Big Brother” for at-risk youths.
