Receptionist/Office Assistant

We are a seeking an organized and energetic self-starter capable of handling many tasks for the Receptionist/Office Assistant position in our Hauppauge, NY based Certified Public Accounting firm.  Our fast-paced environment is ideal for a team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Answering phones

Greet visitors and clients in a friendly and professional manner, determine their needs and assist them accordingly

Support management with projects and issues

Sort and distribute incoming mail

Fax distribution

Process outgoing mail and overnight deliveries

Compose general correspondence

Assemble financial statements and income tax returns for distribution

Maintain general office filing system

Maintain and order office supplies

Process invoices

Make bank deposits

General office duties

-Computer skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

-Excellent written and verbal communication

-Ability to multitask and prioritize

-Ability to work in an office setting

-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

-Ability to work with confidential documents and information
